El Campeonato Mundial de Resistencia FIA WEC y los organizadores de las 24 Horas de Le Mans lanzan un nuevo video juego que lleva por nombre “Le Mans Ultimate”. El juego ha sido desarrollado por Studio 397, responsables de la plataforma rFactor 2, y estará disponible a partir de diciembre de este año solo para computadoras.
El juego para PC contará con autos y circuitos oficiales de la temporada 2023 del Campeonato Mundial de Resistencia de la FIA, que por supuesto tiene las 24 Horas de Le Mans como evento principal. Se incluirán por primera vez Hypercars de Ferrari, Peugeot, Porsche y Toyota, que, junto con los modelos de todos los autos de los participantes de la temporada completa del WEC de 2023, competirán en pistas icónicas como Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, Fuji. y Circuito de la Sarthe.
Además de modelos de autos y circuitos de alta fidelidad, el nuevo juego incorporará la física y el rendimiento líderes en su clase del motor de física detrás de rFactor 2, así como otras funciones innovadoras de juego y competencia asociadas con las carreras de resistencia. El juego en línea estará impulsado por RaceControl, un nuevo desarrollo de Motorsport Games que impulsa una experiencia multijugador interactiva.
Las características incluirán carreras tanto competitivas como más informales, así como la posibilidad de organizar una sesión privada. Quizás lo más innovador es que el juego está planeado para incluir un modo de carrera asíncrono colaborativo, en el que un equipo de jugadores puede realizar sus turnos en el momento y la fecha que más les convenga, y cada miembro adapta su tiempo en el automóvil a otros compromisos o zonas horarias.
